Former Partizan coach Avram Grant lauds Israeli player Bibras Natcho, highlighting his intelligence, dedication, and significant contribution to the team's spirit and performance.

Avram Grant, the former coach of Partizan, has expressed his admiration for Bibras Natcho, an Israeli player who has left a significant mark on the team. During a recent visit to Belgrade, Grant shared insights into his tenure at Partizan and his philosophy on football.

Grant, who led Partizan from January to May 2012, revealed his frequent visits to Belgrade and his affinity for the city and its people. Recalling a memorable championship match in 2017, he described the vibrant atmosphere and his incognito enjoyment of the event.

Under his guidance, Partizan was known for its attractive football and emphasis on passing.

However, Grant acknowledged the challenges of maintaining this style, especially when facing teams that adopted a more defensive approach. He recounted adapting tactics in response to varying pitch conditions and the defensive strategies of opponents, including their fierce rival, Crvena Zvezda.

The spotlight then turned to Bibras Natcho, a player Grant holds in high regard. Describing Natho as a "gem" of Partizan, Grant praised his intelligence, dedication, and overall demeanor. He revealed a lesser-known fact about Natho's early potential, noting his consideration for first-team promotion back in 2006 when Natho was just 16 years old.

"Natchois a fantastic player and an outstanding individual. He's incredibly smart, committed, and a wonderful person—the type of player I cherish. He's one of my favorite players; his development has been remarkable," Grant expressed.

Concluding the conversation, Grant reflected on the prospects of the Serbian national team in the upcoming European Championship in Germany.

He encouraged the team to learn from past experiences, unite, and leverage their talent to not just advance through the group stage but aim higher. Grant emphasized the exceptional talent within the Serbian squad and urged them to foster a strong team spirit.

Throughout his illustrious career, Avram Grant has managed teams like Chelsea, Portsmouth, West Ham, and national teams such as Israel and Ghana. Currently, he serves as the coach of the Zambian national team, leading them in the Africa Cup of Nations.
