English Premier League club Nottingham Forest has officially announced the signing of Portuguese international Jota Silva, who was a key player for Vitoria Guimaraes.
Nottingham Forest, the club where former Slovenian international Miran Pavlin will also be working, is strengthening its squad. A few weeks ago, Serbian international Nikola Milenković joined Forest, and now the two-time European champions have added Portuguese international Jota Silva.
Jota Silva is a player well-remembered by Celje, as he was the main asset for Vitoria Guimaraes during their clash with Celje in the Conference League qualifiers last year.
Nottingham Forest paid €7 million for the 25-year-old winger, who is often compared to Jack Grealish in Portugal due to his hairstyle and playing style.
Jota had an excellent season, scoring 15 goals and providing seven assists in 42 matches for Guimaraes.
