Partizan has turned down an €8 million offer for Mateus Saldanha, with Everton and Sporting Lisbon expressing interest in the striker.

Mateus Saldanha is set to leave Partizan by the end of the summer! The Brazilian has proven to be a top-class striker in just one year, making his move from Azerbaijan to Belgrade a successful one. He remains the top scorer in the Serbian SuperLiga despite being sidelined by injury for a long period, and Partizan's decline in the league coincided with Saldanha's absence.

Last weekend, Saldanha attended the derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe in Istanbul. Speculation about the striker moving to Turkey is growing, but it appears there's no truth to it for now. The lethal forward has already traveled to Brazil for a vacation and will not play against Radnički Kragujevac in the last round of the Serbian SuperLiga.

"I met with Saldanha's representative. He told me they did not come to Istanbul to negotiate a transfer and that Lille sent an official offer of €8 million, which Partizan rejected. He also revealed that Everton and Sporting are interested in the striker," said renowned Turkish sports journalist Jagiz Sabançoglu, as reported by Mozzart Sport.
